Being a frequent traveler to Spanish speaking countries I found it increasingly frustrating not being able to communicate with the natives.
On my last trip my wife and I were having breakfast at the Hotel and I wanted to order fresh strawberries which did not happen because of the language barrier so upon returning I decided to take action..
I could either wait for the natives to become better at speaking English or I could learn to speak Spanish myself. The answer seemed obvious so I did some research on how to learn Spanish fast.
If you’re like me, you either don’t care to sit in a classroom to learn Spanish or maybe don’t have the time so luckily there are other options out there with the Internet within reach of most people.
A friend of mine mentioned he had learned German through a program that he purchased online and had picked it up pretty quickly. I asked him for the site and plugged it in to my computer and found that they actually had Spanish available as well.
After reading all the content I decided this could solve my problem and maybe even help me to impress my wife with my skills on our next trip if I could learn Spanish online.
I purchased the program and downloaded everything from the site. I Installed the course on my computer and also copied the MP3 files to my phone so I could listen to it whenever I wanted to.

Mexican – you cannot imagine the look on her face when I engaged in a Spanish conversation with one of the servers at the place. It was all worth it and I actually had fun learning at the same time.

Rocket Spanish actually comes in two different formats – a downloadable format and also 
the physical format which is a “learn Spanish cd” for those who prefer having the physical CD. There is a small price difference between them and the downloadable format is cheapest, but may not be suitable for everyone.
When you purchase the program you can instantly download everything to your computer. After downloading, you won’t even need an Internet connection when you use it and can also copy to your laptop, MP3 player or smartphone.
I have a long commute to work and this time is really wasted so being able to listen in the car was really convenient in my case.
The program has over 30 Spanish lessons, which combined is more than 12 hours. Each lesson is about 25 minutes which is about the same length as my attention span so it worked out good. You will learn conversational Spanish in common scenarios you would encounter in everyday life and on vacation.
PC Magazine actually did a review on the program and gave it 4.5 out of 5.
I did discover that the online access to the Community was really valuable, also the quizzes that comes with the program is an additional bonus and motivation to learn Spanish fast.
